My friend took it when we were in Italy.  I think the black & white makes it interesting.

Hi Chris ~ Sweet dog - and I love the black and white - it looks great.  I was in a listing the other day and it was obvious that somebody in the family was a photographer because there were decades of family candids - all in b&w.  I envied them their photos - I prefer the b&w but you just don't see enough of it nowadays.

I love pictures of dogs, cats, and kids.  Black and white is better for some reason.

What a sweet face Chris!  I agree, black and white photography is much better than color.  The details in  a B&W picture stand out, just like they do in black and white movies.  I'm glad to see more and more amateur photogs are converting.   Nice post!

Terry - B&W is just so much cooler somehow!  My sister often gets a set of hers in black & white.  I love it.

We just put in applications to two different Golden rescues in our area.  Our house is so quiet without a dog!

Chris , looks like he is staying close to his owner.  This is a beautiful shot, I so love black and white photos.

Jennifer - How did I miss your comment?  It's morning and I'm still having coffee!  I noticed many more dogs out & about with their people in Italy than I see here. 

Chris, B&W pictures and vinyl records are the coolest.  Just bought a 1950's Grundig console stereo hi-fi.  Looks and sounds like new.  Everything old is new again!

I have a huge collection of vinyl, Terry, I LOVE it.  I have an old cabinet style record player/stereo that still has the original paperwork.  It's amazing.

I love Goldens, they are the best !!  And this is a great photo, Chris, guarding his buddy. 

 I also think Europe is much more advanced about pets than we are......this is at an outdoor cafe,

maybe??  I can take my dog to work because I work at home.  I bet more people wish they could

take their pets with them to work, if possible.  At least to the local coffee shop on Sat morning!

Bonnie - I am sure you are right.  I am also sure my dog would be better behaved if she went everywhere with me.

Chris, that would be a "console stereo hi-fi" you have my dear.  Dont you think vinyl sounds so much better than digital?  I had to buy an old hi-fi because my records just didnt sound right on our new turntable hooked to the surround sound system.  Can't wait to meet up with all of you in March!

Terry - Yes, that would be what I have.  I remember my grandparents' console stereo hi-fi from when I was a kid.  I used to listen to their Olivia Newton John and Helen Reddy albums when they were at work.  : )  Can't wait to meet you either!  We're very excited.

Marian - I agree, they just make the photo seem more important somehow.
