If anyone can help foster or adopt this sweet six year old dog please let us know. See below for the story of why she is in need of a home. Her family cannot find a no-kill shelter.

Please help me find a home! My mom lost her home, her job and her other best friend already. She's taken good care of and loved me very much for six years, but she's living with relatives in an apartment that won't allow dogs over 20lbs. I'm a good girl, I'm not as old as I look cause my muzzle has always been gray. I'm afraid my mom's heart will break if I don't find somewhere to live... she's had a rough year, but seeing me put down when I'm so full of life and love would be one of the hardest things ever. We've been looking for a no-kill shelter, but with so many families losing homes in California, we haven't had any luck. If you know someone who lives in the San Francisco Bay area who could love a silly girl like me, please let my mom, KC, know. You can email her on Yahoo. Her address is kc.coburn, you know the rest. Please forward this message to your email list, too. Maybe it will reach someone who needs me as much as I need them. Thanks! Serena

Oh my gosh, Chris. If I lived in the SF Bay area, I would definitely foster her. Poor thing. I hope she finds a loving home.
She looks like a lovely dog and I do hope she gets a home soon.
Thanks Heather. This must be very hard for her owner!
Thank you Bob & Carolin, I hope so too!
Chris
This is so sad, I feel so badly for KC and all she is going through! I will be praying that someone will provide a home for this sweet dog.
Chris, wish I lived in the bay area, I would take her in a heartbeat! Good luck!

Thank you Ann, I know it must be very hard for her.
Dear inappropriately DELETED one, I know you would! Wish I could fly her out to you, I'd love to visit.
I love it when I comment as my mother! lol
How sad. I wish I lived nearby but I'm clear across the country. What a hearbreaker. I hope someone finds it in their heart to take this girl in.
It is sad Elyse, hopefully we will find her a good home.
Chris, you need to stage this dog! Just kidding! If I lived in the Bay area, I'd tell her to come on home! I have a feeling you and Serena are going to get lucky!
I didn't take the pictures Patricia! : ) I sure hope Sarena finds a home.
Hello Chris,
Such a sad story for Serena & her owner. I hope that comes to Serena's rescue soon. We will crosspost and help put the word out.
Chris
Thank you Chris! I know it is very hard for her to have to let Sarena go.
